A new line has been added to the studio. The ever popular coconut telegrams…actual painted coconuts that are approved by the USPS for mailing and flip flop postcards are now available. The artist is NANCY TAYLOR an accomplished artist. Her work appears in Key West as well as in Venice. Stop by the studio to see her work…..a lot of Florida sea scenes ……small hand painted/drawn  in inks and water color pencil.

Also coming very soon to the web site   Childrens art. We are proud of the children for their efforts to be free and creative. I want to celebrate that.

It is a beautiful day here in Venice  sun shine  cool breeze   God is good….All praise to God for the beauty of the earth. Think green.

Tuesday the RED HAT ladies one group came to the studio and we had a great time. They painted tiles. Lokk at the picture below. Also Marge had a wonderful turn out for her show.  Have a wonderful day…Sr. Maureen

I am so proud of Erin Schwanner. I haven’t seen her in several years but she was a student of mine  a very capable young artist and now is in the student BEST of SHOW exhibit at Ringling School of Art and Design. I hope you will be able to see the show. it opened on April 10. I think you can google her and see some of her work . It is excellent.

Don’t forget the showing of Marges’ on the 22nd of this month at the Wachovia Financial building on US 41 S next door to Books a Million.  Have a great day……Sr. Maureen

Today on  the gallery page you can view the work of Marge Roberts and Peggy Fehl. The work looks very good. Mark April 22,2009 0n your calendar . Marge will be having a show at the Wachovia Financial Building on Us 41 in South Venice next door to the Books a Milloin store. Bring a can of dog or cat food to donate to the Animal Shelter. We are looking forwad to this event.

You will see several beautiful pictures of Pat’s ceramic fish. You will find them on the gallery page. Things are going well here more students are coming in every day. Spring break starts here next week so here’s hoping . Also today I hung pictures on the outside wall of the studio and that has prompted many lookers. Happy spring!

There will be two new artists added to the Stillpoint web page. Marge Roberts a wonderful painter and Peggy Fehl a China Painter of many years. Look for their work soon. Marge will be having a show in April….more to come on that. Today is the beautiful feast day of Our Lady. The Annunciation. Today is a glorious day here in Venice sun shinning and a cool breeze.
